Central Pennsylvania Region Overview

The Central Pennsylvania Region consists ten counties: Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Juniata, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union. The ten county region covers 5,760 square miles. The population total in the region is 619,136 according to the US Census Bureau 2000 data. Major cities and towns within the region include Berwick, Bloomsburg, Danville, Lewisburg, Lewistown, Lock Haven, Milton, Selinsgrove, State College, Sunbury, and Williamsport.
